【涂建豐／高雄報導】高雄市議員蕭永達因在議長選舉亮票，遭高雄地檢署起訴洩密罪，高雄地院一審判五月徒刑，不過，今天下午高分院改判無罪，蕭永達隨後回應說，這是民意政治、政黨政治的勝利，議員是民意代表，應該遵照選民託付、政黨立場行事，司法機關稍早作法是讓議會政治淪為笑柄。民進黨也應處理當初在議長選舉中跑票的議員。
