美參院銀行委員會 周四表決葉倫提名案

美國參議院銀行委員會18日宣布，將在本周四（21日）就葉倫（Janet Yellen）接掌聯準會（Fed）的任命案進行表決。

參院銀行委員會預定在當地時間21日上午10時（台灣時間21日晚間11時），針對是否應通過葉倫任命案、並提交參院全體表決進行投票。

67歲的葉倫現為Fed副主席，曾任舊金山聯準銀行總裁，日前獲總統歐巴馬提名，接替明年1月底八年任期屆滿的現任主席柏南克。

由於銀行委員會22名委員中，12名為民主黨人，且民主黨在參院100個席次中占據55席，所以此案只需取得五名共和黨議員支持，就能順利過關。

銀行委員會部分共和黨籍委員，雖曾嚴厲批評Fed的超寬鬆貨幣政策，卻未在上周任命案聽證會中，藉此對葉倫施壓，且數位共和黨議員已表態將支持葉倫。
