蔡田號證實越界 距菲小島40公尺

屏東籍漁船蔡田號4日遭菲律賓扣押，菲國今下午1時傳真初步報告到外交部，依漁船位蔡田號在巴丹省的小島北方距岸僅40公尺，漁船上有釣具、蛙鏡等作業配備，也及龍蝦、海蛇、魚餌等36.7公斤，顯示船隻在靠岩岸處作業，我國駐菲律賓代表處將6日將協助蔡波翻譯等事項。

漁業署澄清，重疊經濟海域並不包含12海浬海浬，必須尊重他國領海範圍，不能以此為作業理由。依經驗類似案例罰款約5萬美金（折合台幣約150萬），同時也違反「漁業法」可罰3至15萬元，將再評估返國是否再行開罰。
