新加坡公布設定利率調查結果 懲處20家銀行

新加坡金融管理局（MAS ）14日公布設定新加坡銀行間拆款利率（SIBOR）等基準利率的調查報告，發現20家銀行業者的133位交易員2007年到2011年間，試圖影響這些指標利率，並要求這些業者須分別再提列多達12億星元（9.6億美元）的準備金。

MAS檢視上億份文件後發現，蘇格蘭皇家銀行（RBS）、荷蘭國際集團（ING）和瑞士銀行（UBS）等業者曾試圖操縱Sibor等利率。MBS也依各家意圖的嚴重程度，要求19家銀行各提列約1億到12億星元的準備金，德國商銀則獲豁免。

MAS並未點名涉嫌操縱利率的個人，也未對業者提出具體指控，也沒提供支持其發現的證據。
