胖到難行 英胖子享免費停車

（中央社台北20日電）英國過度肥胖人士只要通過申請，就能享受與其他殘障人士同樣獲得免費停車的權利，原因是他們只能短距離行走。

「每日郵報」（Daily Mail）報導，殘障人士必須通過一連串的醫學檢測，才能取得使用「藍色徽章」的資格。

然而，這項方針意味著，只有體重限制行走能力的肥胖人士，才能申請使用這項特權。

研究報告估計，到了2050年，英國肥胖人士將占一半人口；當局祭出這項政策後，批評人士呼籲，應該執行更多嚴格的檢測，以確認申請人的體重是否為自身因素所造成。

英國國家肥胖論壇（National Obesity Forum）的傅萊（Tam Fry）說，「相關單位必須履行完善的查核措施，以確保他們不會將符合資格、且非自己造成的肥胖人士排除在外」。

傅萊說：「我想，有很多人冀望享有這項特權，但也有許多人是因為基因缺陷而導致肥胖。」
