大雨淹滿日月潭　9蛙僅1隻出水面

受到鋒面南移影響，南投縣山區下午下起傾盆大雨，據中央氣象局的統計，包括埔里鎮北坑、仁愛鄉武界、奧萬大、萬大及魚池鄉日月潭一帶，都降下超過100毫米的雨量。
 
「中央社」報導，不僅日月潭在地雨量可觀，日月潭上游水源區，包括武界及萬大的降雨更大，武界引水隧道進水豐沛，讓日月潭水位再攀升。
 
逼近滿檔的高水位，讓九蛙頭步道尾端架在潭面的木棧道，幾乎要泡到水，湖畔的「九蛙疊像」也只剩最上面的1隻露出水面。
 
日月潭的滿水位是海拔748.48公尺，3月中下旬因乾旱影響，水位一度降至744公尺以下，潭畔沙洲浮現，水蛙頭水域的景觀雕塑「九蛙疊像」全都露出水面，碼頭及遊艇面臨封閉、停航壓力。
