「手足情深」工人捨趾救拇　重建成功率高

一名26歲工人工作不慎左手拇指被機器壓碎一半，被送往奇美醫院救治，奇美醫學中心整形外科以顯微手術將其左腳第二腳趾移植到受傷拇指殘端，把指骨、肌腱、血管、神經和皮膚重新接合，不僅術後手部功能恢復良好，外觀也令他很滿意。他比喻這項手術是「手足情深」，亦是「犧牲小我完成大我」。
