專利只有攻擊性 林恩平不畏戰

林恩平表示，專利沒有保護性，只有攻擊性。

【高佳菁╱台北報導】大立光（3008）鑽研光學技術，打下深厚根基，加上光學鏡頭專利布局相當完整，近來在捍衛自身專利權態度轉趨積極，甚至不畏強權直接槓上三星；事實上，大立光執行長林恩平早在今年6月股東會就曾公開強調，「專利沒有保護性，只有攻擊性」，似乎也為這一連串的專利訴訟戰下了最好的註解。
林恩平當時即語出驚人說，大立光不只對1家（玉晶光）對手提出要求授權，從大立光陸續對先進光、三星提告來看，顯示其捍衛專利是玩真的，絕非口頭說說。

擁強大專利保護牆

大立光前董事長林耀英曾笑說，光學產業是又熱、又重、又髒的「3K行業」，因為林耀英執著於技術研發，為大立光在光學領域奠定深厚的基礎，也讓大立光擁有逾460項專利，正在申請中更超過千個，形成強大專利保護牆。
林恩平承襲父親林耀英的態度，除專注技術開發，甚至還主動出擊捍衛自身權利，他說，就因「專利沒有保護性，只有攻擊性」，因此，對於專利的授權，大立光是採開放態度，一定會「先給授權機會，遭拒才會提告」。
