【簡威弘、李定宇／馬來西亞報導】馬來西亞邦邦島（Pom Pom Island）恐怖攻擊行動釀1死1被擄，《蘋果》記者昨出發前往當地，記者先抵達沙巴州首府亞庇，再搭國內班機趕抵仙本那，在仙本拿遇到大雨，無法前往邦邦島，記者詢問當地華僑、居民，他們大多對治安感到憂心，一對中國情侶飛抵才知出事，嚇得直說：「晚上不敢亂跑！」

記者前往目的地仙本那，途中發現有商店，買3份當地報紙，頭版皆以斗大標題及圖片提及這起慘劇，商店老闆看到記者手拿一疊馬幣要付錢，立即說：「要把錢收好，不要一次拿出這麼多，會被搶。」讓記者開始擔心起來，因當地風雨無法如願前進邦邦島，但《蘋果》觀察到仙本那以歐美人士居多，僅有2、3組陸客團，未見台灣人，顯見台灣旅客受攻擊事件影響，到馬國旅遊地點多集中在亞庇及西岸附近。
