美高院拒再受理同志婚姻案

美國最高法院在26日對兩個案子作成判決，賦予同性戀者平等的婚姻權利之後，今天(27日)拒絕受理另外2個類似案例。

這兩個新案分別是有關內華達州憲法修正案，這項只承認異性婚姻；另一個案子是亞利桑那州的法律，對於同居夥伴關係者，不得享有州政府提供的福利。

美國最高法院26日對「溫莎對美國案」(Windsor v. US)作出判決，認為「婚姻保護法」(DOMA)界定婚姻為一男一女組合的條文與憲法衝突，判定無效。

另一起「霍林伍茲對裴利案」(Hollingworth v. Perry)，挑戰加州禁止同性戀婚姻的「八號提案」(Proposition 8)進行公投的結果，多數大法官認為法案違憲。

美國總統歐巴馬推文指出，「這是向前邁出的歷史性一大步，愛就是愛。」
