亞馬遜 在英國因稅務惹怨

英國官方數據顯示，亞馬遜（Amazon）去年在英國銷售額42億英鎊，卻只納稅240萬英鎊（360萬美元），引發民怨。

亞馬遜向投資人提交的數據，將使該公司主管16日赴國會委員會說明先前的報稅證據時，面臨更多壓力。

總部在美國西雅圖的亞馬遜，利用在盧森堡登記的子公司在英國避稅，去年在英國繳納的公司稅僅240萬英鎊，甚至比同期接受英國政府的補助金還少10萬英鎊。

亞馬遜發言人表示，一切行為符合英國法律，並強調未來兩年要在英國創造2,000個就業機會。
