Ubisoft 宣布，去年首度公開於 Wii U 主機上推出的《雷射超人：傳奇》、確認將在今年 8 月 29 日跨平台登上 PS3 及 Xbox 360 平台。並且公佈最新預告片揭露全新海底世界、兩平台首批版本將分別限量加贈傳奇刺客「愛德華．肯威」與間諜特攻「山姆費雪」特典解鎖外觀。

和囊括 2011 年度最佳橫向捲軸遊戲等多項大獎的《雷射超人：起源》相同，PS3 及 Xbox 360 版本的《雷射超人：傳奇》同樣是由 Ubisoft 蒙特利埃（Montpellier）工作室打造，本作同樣以華麗視覺效果和創新遊戲性被公認為是 2013 年最受期待的橫向捲軸遊戲。
「我們聽到很多 PlayStation、Xbox 玩家及《雷射超人》粉絲們告訴我們他們真的很想在自己所使用的平台上玩到《雷射超人：傳奇》」，Ubisoft 歐亞區首席市場行銷業務總監 Geoffroy Sardin 表示：「因此我們決定回應玩家的熱切期盼，同時拓展玩家族群、讓更多人能享受這款充滿創新並且令人難忘的遊戲」。

《雷射超人：傳奇》保有前作《雷射超人：起源》的奇幻要素、同時增加了巧妙和富娛樂性的多種遊戲模式、全新角色、全新環境和全新原聲配樂。這個由藝術家、設計師及作曲家所組成、獲獎無數的研發團隊將再次使用 UbiArt 框架引擎帶來包含多維遊戲環境、強化的光影系統及更新的渲染技術，將以往已經令人驚豔的畫質再帶往更高一個層次。
《雷射超人：傳奇》將在今年 8 月 29 日於 PS3、Xbox 360 推出。
